Rewriting the Code Fellowship 2019

Looking for a way to connect with other rad women in tech? Check out the Rewriting the Code Fellow program. It's a great way to meet other like-minded individuals and get access to great job opportunities. As a Fellow, you have the opportunity to attend webinars (like the one on Cybersecurity last week and the one on internship prep yesterday), tech talks, special interest groups, meetups, and more.

I joined Rewriting the Code as a Fellow about a year and a half ago. As a Fellow, I have gained not only a community of women across the country but also within my school. I have other Fellows in my engineering classes, and it is great to know you have these women to go to for homework help, study sessions, and general support. In addition to meeting people, I have also learned a lot. The webinars and tech talks are chalk full of relevant tech topics. There are even special interest groups for those looking to delve a little deeper into specific subjects. Just a few months ago, a Blockchain/Bitcoin special interest group was formed to learn about and experiment with some of the technologies out there.

Rewriting The Code from Rewriting The Code on Vimeo. (Let the record show I embedded this into this post by switching into the HTML editor and tinkering around until I got it to display properly. I literally just rewrote the code.)

Rewriting the Code is not just confined to computer science either! It's about all types of tech, with Fellows widely ranging in interests. You are sure to meet someone cool, learn something new, and walk away excited to be a woman in tech. Applications for the 2019 class close April 30th, so apply today!
